Srijan Sanchar, as the innovation partner for the AI Premier League (AIPL), Proposes  to  use  its comprehensive  frameworks to build a  multi-stage innovation ecosystem. .  This  will   create  a continuous pipeline for sovereign AI solutions from initial ideation to full-scale national implementation.

1. Challenge Definition and Ideation: Leveraging VLSI and Open Innovation

Srijan Sanchar's expertise in Very Large Scale Innovation (VLSI) and Open Innovation can transform how AIPL's challenges are defined.

·       From "Councils" to Crowdsourcing: Instead of a small group of "sectoral councils" creating problem statements, Srijan Sanchar can launch a national-level crowdsourcing initiative. This taps into the "wisdom of the crowd," inviting not just ministry officials and industry leaders, but also individual citizens, academics, and students to submit problems, data, and even initial ideas for each of the five critical sectors. This approach ensures a diversity of perspectives and helps identify a wider range of relevant challenges.

·       The "Solution Seeker" Platform: Srijan Sanchar will provide  use its Solution Seeker-Problem Solver Exchange framework to   make  available  its  digital platform. For Problem seekers (ministries, corporations) to post detailed challenges, and problem solvers (startups, researchers) can browse and propose solutions. This creates a transparent and efficient marketplace for ideas, ensuring the best talent is matched with the most pressing problems.

2. Solution Development: Catalyzing Extended Enterprise and Frugal Innovation

Once challenges are defined, Srijan Sanchar will foster a collaborative environment for solution development using its frameworks.

·       Extended Enterprise: This framework will be central to breaking down silos. Srijan Sanchar will  be keen to  facilitate the formation of "super-teams" that include government officials, corporate sponsors, startups, and academic researchers. For a defense-related challenge, for example, a team might include military experts to provide domain knowledge, a startup for agile development, a large corporation for resources, and university researchers for cutting-edge AI models. ·       VLSI and "Creativity of Constraint": India has unique challenges that require tailored solutions. Srijan Sanchar's "Frugal Innovation" and "Creativity of Constraint" frameworks encourage teams to build solutions that are not only effective but also cost-efficient and scalable for India's resource-constrained environment. For an agricultural AI solution, this would mean developing an app that works on low-cost smartphones with limited data connectivity, rather than a solution requiring high-end hardware.

3. Implementation and Market Launch: Driving Ideas to Marketplace 

The final stage of AIPL needs to ensure that winning solutions are not left as open-source code but are actively implemented. Srijan Sanchar will   facilitate  this through its Ideas to Marketplace Launchpad.

·       The Launchpad: Srijan Sanchar proposes  to  establish an accelerator program for the winning teams. This program would provide:

o   Seed Funding and Investment Opportunities: Connecting teams with venture capitalists and government grants.

o   Mentorship: Providing guidance from industry veterans on product development, go-to-market strategy, and business modeling.

o   Pilot Projects: Facilitating pilot projects with government ministries and large corporations to test and validate the AI solutions in real-world scenarios. This is a critical step for building trust and proving viability.

·       Creating AI Standards: By working closely with winning teams and government ministries, Srijan Sanchar is keen to  help define and implement national AI standards. This is crucial for ensuring interoperability, data security, and ethical use of sovereign AI across the country.
